1) Kotilingeswara Temple
Kotilingeswara Temple is one of the oldest temples in Rajahmundry. This ancient temple was built around in 10 Th century. This temple’s architecture is one of the main reason of tourists towards this temple. This temple also has some bathing Ghats around the temple. The rival of Lord Rama i.e. King Ravana used to offer prayers for Lord Shiva. Whoever visits this temple takes a holy dip in the water around the temple.
2) Dwaraka Tirumala Temple
Dwaraka Tirumala temple is in the western part of the Godavari District. Lord Venkateswara is the idol of this temple. It is also very much popularly known as Smaller Tirupati (Chinna Tirupati)
This temple was named after a saint Dwaraka who is an utmost devotee of Lord Venkateswara. This temple has got a very special attraction i.e. this temple has a total of two idols in it. One of the idol is a complete idol and other just has the upper part of the Lord Venkateswara. Both of these idols are worshipped by the devotes.
3) Bhimesvara and Somesvara temple
Bhimesvara and Somesvara temple is also located in the western part of the Godavari district. This temple has a tall Shiva Lingam which is of height 1.52 m. The festival Shivaratri is celebrated in the traditional manner every once in a year. One of the evils named Tharakasura was said to be having the “Amruthalingam” which makes him immortal and he used to create severe problems to the Gods. So by the solution of Kumara Swami, Tharakasura was able to give away it to the Kumara Swami. During this it is said that five pieces of the Amruthalingam fell on different places and these are called Pancharamas. Those places are Bhimavaram, Palacol, Amaravathi, Draksharamam and Samalakota
4) Achanta Temple
Achanta Temple is situated in the village named Tanuku which is approximately 50 kms from Tadepalligudem.It is one of the ancient temples of Sri Rameswara Swamy. The main attraction so this temple are it has an entrance called as Gopuram which is beautifully sculpted and has two lion statues in front of the temple as a symbol of Royality.It also has a Nandi which is in elevated angle.
5) Annavaram Temple
Annavaram temple is situated on the banks of East Godavari. The idol of this famous shrine is Lord Veera Venkata Satyanarayana swamy on the hills of Ratnagiri. There used to old saying that this land is belongs to both Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swami and Goddess Anantalaxmi Satyavathi Ammavaru. In Andhra Pradesh this temple stands out to be the most famous pilgrims after Tirupati. This temple architecture is most astonishing thing for anyone who visits this temple. This temple is 85 kms away from Rajahmundry and 150 kms from Visakhapatnam.
6) Ainavilli Temple
Ainavilli temple is 75 kms away from Kakinada and around 50 Kms away from Rajahmundry. Lord Ganapathi is the idol of this temple. According to our Hindu Vaastu Sashtra, temples must constructed on the river banks, nearer to the sea, and on the top of a mountain. Many devotees have a sacred feeling towards this temple.

Antharvedi temple is 120 kms away from Rajahmundry and about 140 kms away from Kakinada. The idol of this temple is Lord LakshmiNarasimha. This temple is very much populated during the festivals. There was a belief that Lord Brahma preached the greatness of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha to Narada in this temple.
9) Appanapalli Temple
Appanapalli temple is 75 kms away from Kakinada and about 90 kms from Rajahmundry. This temple is located on the River Vynateya banks. This is also called as second Tirupathi. The idol of this temple is Lord Venkateswara. This temple has got this name when a Rushi named Appana did a long thapassu for the goodness of the world. This used to be chanting place for all theBrahmins in the olden days.
10) Biccavolu Temple
Biccavolu temple is 35 kms away from Kakinada and 50 Kms from Rajahmundry. The idol of this temple is Sri Raja Rajeswari Ammavaru. This temple was built by the Chalukyas who are greatarchitectures. The temple was named after a king who ruled that region. This temple has a fantastic architecture. In this temple the sculpture of Lord Ganesh stands above all.
